You don’t have to keep being so hard on yourself.

A gentle space to slow down, understand yourself, and build a more supportive relationship with yourself.

You’re always there for everyone else.

You show up, you push through, you figure it out.

But when it comes to you…

You overthink everything.

You question yourself.

You feel like you’re not doing enough or not being enough.

And it’s exhausting.

Maybe you’ve learned to be this way. Maybe it’s what helped you get through things.

But that doesn’t mean you have to keep living like this.

If this feels familiar…

  • You constantly overthink your decisions

  • You’re your own harshest critic

  • You feel like you have to prove your worth

  • You struggle to trust yourself

  • You feel emotionally drained but keep pushing through

  • You show up for others but don’t know how to show up for yourself

What working together can feel like

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform, prove, or have it all together. We move at your pace. We make sense of what you’re feeling. We gently explore the patterns that are keeping you stuck. This is a supportive, collaborative space where you get to show up as you are and we take things one step at a time.

Over time you may start to notice:

  • You feel less overwhelmed by your thoughts

  • You respond to challenges with more clarity

  • You trust yourself instead of second-guessing everything

  • Your inner voice becomes less critical and more supportive

  • You feel more grounded and emotionally steady

  • You feel lighter not because life is perfect, but because you’re not carrying it alone

My Approach

My approach is warm, supportive, and conversational. I use compassion-focused and person-centered therapy, which means you’re not being judged, analyzed, or told what to do. Instead, we focus on helping you understand yourself more deeply, build self-trust, and create a relationship with yourself that feels safe and supportive.

Hi, I’m Carrie!

I created this space for people who are used to holding everything in and being strong for everyone else.

I know how easy it is to be hard on yourself, to feel like you have to prove your worth, or to question whether you’re doing enough.

In our work together, you don’t have to have it all together. You get to show up as you are and we’ll figure things out, together.

Who I work with

I work with young adults who are navigating life transitions, relationships, and career pressures while quietly struggling with self-doubt and self-criticism. I also have a special focus on supporting people of color, particularly those who have felt pressure to be strong for others while struggling internally.

Many of my clients are used to holding everything together on the outside, while inside feeling overwhelmed, unsure of themselves, or like they’re not doing enough.

You don’t have to keep doing this on your own.

It’s possible to feel more grounded, more confident, and more at peace within yourself.
